Product Manager - Document Intelligence Platform
NY office
Reimagine the infrastructure of cancer care within a community that values integrity, inspires growth, and is uniquely positioned to create a more modern, connected oncology ecosystem.
We’re looking for a Product Manager to help us accomplish our mission to improve and extend lives by learning from the experience of every person with cancer. Are you ready to be the next changemaker in cancer care?
What You'll Do
At the heart of that mission is a hard technical problem: turning vast volumes of unstructured clinical documents into high-quality, reliable, trustworthy data that research and product teams can use quickly and safely.
We're looking for a Product Manager to drive improvements to our core document processing systems toward a modern, scalable document intelligence solution. You will set direction for your initiatives, advance AI capabilities responsibly, and align a unified, well-governed Document Intelligence Platform under a broader platform strategy. Your responsibilities will include:
- Modernize Document Processing & Invest for Scale.
- Partner closely with engineering to plan, ship and validate solutions quickly, track key metrics, and deliver impact to leadership.
- Identify and deliver opportunities to automate, streamline, or modernize the platform — reducing complexities and unlocking scale.
- Keep production systems stable and performant while driving measurable progress on modernization and AI transformation.
- Deliver Stakeholder outcomes and evolve operating models
- Be open-minded and curious, working backward from strategic outcomes to advance clinical quality, compliance, and operational productivity.
- Foster a collaborative culture amongst cross-functional stakeholders, facilitating solution and trade-off discussions, driving alignment, and ensuring transparency.
- Define clear interfaces and consumption patterns, aligning partners on inputs, outputs, sequencing, and definition of done, including data contracts, SLAs, and handoffs.
Who You Are
You're a kind, passionate, and collaborative problem-solver who brings technical depth, organizational influence, and a genuine belief that the systems we build matter to real patients.
- You're a product manager with 5+ years of experience in data infrastructure, cloud platforms, or machine learning.
- You have experience leading migrations and roadmap execution in live production environments with legacy constraints.
- You are fluent in data modeling, system performance, and AI/ML concepts relevant to document understanding.
- You have demonstrated real-world experience shipping AI-enabled solutions to production, with clear opinions and judgment on where AI adds value and where it doesn't.
- You work collaboratively, move decisions forward, and execute well in complex, ambiguous environments.
- You treat platform capabilities as a product, aligning internal teams on APIs, contracts, and reliability expectations.
- You have strong technical aptitude and the ability to navigate technical designs, challenges, and risks.
Extra Credit
- Background in Healthcare or Life Sciences, or experience with HIPAA-compliant data environments
- Experience with cross-market data operations and region-specific privacy considerations (e.g. GDPR)
- Experience with generative AI in production systems
