Nebraska Cancer Specialists (NCS) today announces that they have joined the Flatiron Health network through the adoption of OncoEMR, including Flatiron’s Oncology Care Model solutions.
NCS and Flatiron Health will focus on leveraging Flatiron’s software and services to enable a more integrated and seamless experience for all of the practice’s clinicians. As part of the new partnership, NCS will also use Flatiron’s integrated valued-based care solutions used by over 30 percent of participating practices to optimize their performance in the Oncology Care Model, a program created by the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation.
“Flatiron’s physician workflow tools, the interfaces they have with key technologies used across our clinics and their commitment to clinical trial research, were all key factors in our decision to transition to OncoEMR,” said Danielle Geiger, NCS practice administrator and a nurse practitioner. “Through our partnership with Flatiron, we plan to see significant improvements in both our clinical and operational efficiencies.”
