NEW YORK, NY

Flatiron Health today announced that South Carolina Oncology Associates, one of the only physician-owned, comprehensive cancer treatment center in South Carolina, has selected OncoEMR® to better manage clinical workflows and help transform their delivery of high quality cancer care.

Backed by decades of oncology experience, OncoEMR is a leading cloud-based electronic medical record (EMR) designed specifically for oncology. It was developed by Altos Solutions Inc. (acquired by Flatiron Health in May 2014) and is certified to support eligible providers with meeting both Stage 1 and Stage 2 Meaningful Use measures.

“We chose OncoEMR because we wanted an innovative technology platform with the ability to support our providers at the point of care,” said Robert E. Smith, Jr., MD, South Carolina Oncology Associates. “OncoEMR will allow us to see patients more efficiently while improving documentation processes.”

OncoEMR is a key product of the OncoCloud™ integrated software suite for cancer clinics. The suite also includes OncoAnalytics™, a first-of-its-kind advanced analytics tool that unlocks meaningful data from multiple systems across various vendors, as well as the SeeYourChart® patient portal and OncoBilling® claims system.

South Carolina Oncology Associates currently leverages OncoAnalytics to view actionable business and clinical insights. Together, Flatiron’s integrated OncoAnalytics and OncoEMR solution will enable South Carolina Oncology Associates to access deeper insights and identify further opportunities to enhance the quality and value of care provided to their patients.
