Leading multi-specialty oncology practice was searching for a cloud-based solution across medical and radiation oncology

Flatiron Health announced today that Oncology Consultants, a community oncology practice with 15 physicians in eight locations throughout the greater Houston area, selected OncoEMR® as their medical oncology electronic-health record (EHR). Oncology Consultants chose OncoEMR because they needed a cloud-based medical oncology software solution that will be interoperable with their ARIA® oncology information system for radiation oncology by Varian Medical Systems.
Last May, Flatiron Health and Varian Medical Systems announced a strategic alliance to develop cloud-based software solutions that support oncologists in delivering high quality care across the cancer care continuum. As one of the first practices using ARIA® oncology information system for radiation oncology to implement Flatiron Health’s OncoEMR, Oncology Consultants will be able to enjoy interoperability between the two systems for maximum clinical workflow efficiency upon commercial release.
