Lead Product Manager (Clinical Workflows)

NY office

Reimagine the infrastructure of cancer care within a community that values integrity, inspires growth, and is uniquely positioned to create a more modern, connected oncology ecosystem.

We’re looking for a Lead Product Manager to help us accomplish our mission to improve lives by learning from the experience of every cancer patient. Are you ready to be the next changemaker in cancer care?

What You'll Do

The successful candidate will help the Flatiron HC (Healthcare) Product Management team to drive the evolution of our oncology workflow products that clinicians rely on every day to deliver safe and efficient cancer care. This is a unique opportunity to join a mission-driven company and make a meaningful impact on cancer care and research.

You will own the end to end strategic direction, roadmap, and development lifecycle across 3 teams supporting core clinical workflows across Flatiron’s industry leading oncology point of care solutions. The successful candidate has led teams of multiple Product Managers and will work closely with a cross-functional team of Software Engineers, Product Designers, Clinicians, and Data Scientists to build a vision, strategy and roadmap for their teams. Flatiron’s HC Product teams are deeply cross-functional given their focus on creating end to end solutions clinicians rely on every day to deliver safe and efficient cancer care —from diagnosis and staging through treatment planning, ordering, and delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Owning the vision, roadmap, ROI, and investment allocations for your teams’ product ownership areas. Partner closely with your Product Managers who refine and execute product strategy across their scrum teams to deliver high impact solutions. Partner closely with the Head of Product to ensure portfolio-level product strategy is in alignment with broader Business Unit product strategy.
  • Acting as both a player and a coach. You may own the product lifecycle for user-facing applications supporting clinical oncology workflows from concept through launch and iteration, involving complex, cross-team projects. You will also coach your team through this process, as they lead the design, development, and rollout of data-driven products that streamline clinical operations, and reinforce safe, high-quality care delivery.
  • Evaluating, prototyping, and delivering new capabilities - Integrating AI into intelligent workflows to reduce cognitive burden and improve clinical efficiency, and establishing platform level capabilities that allow us to do this efficiently at scale.
  • Leading your team in translating complex clinical context, technical constraints, and business goals into clear product requirements, making strategic tradeoffs at the portfolio level to deliver safe and delightful solutions. This may involve staffing decisions, budget considerations, and complex scenario planning.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert on our roadmap and presenting to senior leadership at external customer partners. Effectively communicating your product vision, strategy, and roadmap to diverse stakeholders including internal teams, external customers, vendor partners.
  • Establishing clear KPIs for clinical workflow efficiency, usability, and product adoption, holding your cross-functional organization accountable to measurable patient and business outcomes.
  • Grow and develop your team of Product Managers through thoughtful coaching and management strategies, and contribute to broader product team culture and craft.
