Image Redaction Specialist (Part-Time Contract)

We're looking for a detail-oriented professional to help us accomplish our mission to improve and extend lives by learning from the experience of every person with cancer. This contract position will require up to 40 hours of work each week and is expected to last for 4-5 months, with a possibility of being extended. What You'll Do

In this role, you'll work with Flatiron’s Unstructured Data Processing team to identify protected health information (PHI) in patient medical images and flag that information for removal. You’ll also:

• Follow detailed instructions regarding internal policies and procedures for reviewing data and completing image redaction
• Provide feedback to our team about the software that you are using to help us to improve our processes and tools for doing this work efficiently and effectively
• Be expected to consistently complete a high volume of predefined tasks in a timely manner
• Accurately track your time and report any barriers to efficient work in a timely manner

• You have a high comfort level with technology
• You have a demonstrated attention to detail and are able to follow instructions, policies, and procedures consistently and efficiently
• You have experience with data entry, including strong typing skills
• You have experience independently managing time and workload to meet deadlines and expectations as communicated for your role
• You have consistent access to a secure, high-speed internet network
• You are comfortable with remote work
