Introducing the Value-Based Care Resource Hub
The latest insights on the oncology value-based care landscape, including key updates on the Oncology Care First Model.

OCM explained
The Oncology Care Model (OCM) is a five-year voluntary value-based care program comprised of nearly 200 oncology practices and 16 payers. Participating practices are expected to introduce new care coordination and patient navigation activities in an effort to deliver high-quality care at lower costs.
OCM practices are committed to pushing cancer care forward which will require deeply integrated technology solutions and trusted partnership for long-term success.

MIPS explained
The Quality Payment Program (QPP) redefines how oncologists are reimbursed and puts nearly every provider on a value-based track. In 2016, CMS released their final ruling on the Medicare Access & CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA) which combines and replaces existing performance measure programs like PQRS. Your 2017 performance will affect your 2019 Medicare Part B payments.
Improving your quality performance tracking, optimizing clinical workflows, and enabling official data submission is key to your practice achieving long-term success. OncoEMR®’s MIPS data capture and reports help meet program requirements and is seamlessly integrated within your clinical workflow.
