Connecting with Patients
Interacting directly with cancer patients is an important part of keeping us all focused and deeply connected to our ultimate objective – to beat cancer. Every few months, we host someone living with cancer to speak at our office and take questions. Often, our visitors inspire new projects that make a tremendous impact.
How we Hire

Across most teams, the interview process starts with one or two phone or video interviews. We want to hear all about your previous experiences and “Why Flatiron?” We also love answering questions – so ask away!
If the initial interviews go well, you’ll come to our NYC office to meet the team for on-site interviews. Every role works across a variety of disciplines, so you’ll meet a lineup of people which could include a manager, people in similar functions as well as cross-functional team members.

On a monthly basis, we host a Wellness Day that includes massages, manicures, and meditation sessions. We often set up booths for local wellness organizations and fund on site and off site fitness classes. We also host a bi-weekly meditation in the office.
